Accompanied by the highly skilled musicians of the Young Artists Summer Pops Symphony, the band will perform a selection of classic love songs including favorites like Annie’s Song, "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," and the Beatles’ "And I Love Her." From the lush string renditions of Nat King Cole to the stunning songwriting of artists like Paul Williams and Don McLean, The Art of the Love Song is a cinematic journey for lovers everywhere.
In an epic second act, the evening culminates with the final Gala performance of the Annie Moses Band’s Fine Arts Summer Academy in an original show: Songs of Innocence & Experience. Weaving together literature, classical works, and folk music, Songs explores the voyage of life from the innocence of childhood to the wisdom of old age. It’s a spellbinding journey through poignant music from Paul Simon to Stravinsky.
